Blue was the second color used outside of black to create pieces. Since typically, the experience was quickly grabbing a sharpie and drawing, it was something new that moved me to draw with blue.
Typically blue is considered a color that embodies trust and calmness, however, with “Emotional” I was feeling very disheveled inside. I really couldn’t put my finger on it. It’s like that emotional feeling that comes with the physiological sense of having a face full of tears that haven’t yet escaped your eyes.
Holding it inside, this is what emerged. There is a small water stain hidden from the moment tears burst through my restraint. Nonetheless, there was relief.
This piece was created in one session w/ blue and black sharpie.
